Wednesday, as Hayden and I were on our way home from swimming lessons, we passed Hillcrest, where a burial was being held really close to the street. This is how our conversation went...
Me: (sounding kinda of sad) Oh, look, Hayden, see right there where that tent is? Somebody died and they are having a funeral.
Hayden: (sounding kinda happy) That is GREAT!
Me: (sounding kinda of puzzled) Why is that great?
Hayden: (sounding very sure) He is in Heaven!
I love the way children think...

Me too...Alli sometimes gets sad at the thought of never dying and not being able to see Jesus, although this may be sad, it makes me happy that she is thinking in this way and that she is so very sure that Jesus is real in her life

That is so awesome! It is amazing how they see things, if we all saw a funeral that way the world would be a happier place.
